Last year, Oxfordshire changed the format which generated many more entries and interest. Any club pairs duplicate (20+ boards, not gentle duplicates or 9-High ones, i.e. duplicates open to all club members) in the weeks commencing 17th November, 1st December or 5th January entitle pairs with 50% or more to play in one of three County Pairs Semifinals. Just play in your club duplicate and then enter for a semifinal if you'd like to play and your score is 50% or more. The  semifinal dates are Sunday 2nd February 2pm, Thursday 6th February 7pm, Monday 17th February 7pm (24-26 boards, MPs at Regional Scale, £4 per player, all on RealBridge).  NOTE. CLOSING DATE FOR SEMIFINALS MIDNIGHT TWO DAYS BEFORE. (i.e. Fri 30th Jan, Tue 4th Feb and Sat 15th Feb. Entries only accepted after this to complete a half table).  In proportion to players in each semifinal there will be a 10 table final on Sunday 16th March 2pm (38 boards, Green points awarded, £9 per player, again on RealBridge).  BYLAWS

In the final the top Green Point Award will be 2.50 + (Number of pairs in total playing in semifinals) / 20 rounded up to the nearest 0.25 GP - last year this was 6.25 GP. All pairs in the final of 10 tables will receive GPs, 20th place receiving 0.25 GP.
