Last year, Oxfordshire changed the format of the county Pair which generated many more entries and interest. Any club duplicate (20+ boards, not gentle duplicates or 9-High ones, i.e. duplicates open to all club members) in the weeks commencing 17th November, 1st December or 5th January entitle pairs with 50% or more to play in one of three County Pairs Semifinals.

For info: The  semifinal dates are Sunday 2nd February 2pm, Thursday 6th February 7pm, Monday 17th February 7pm (24-26 boards, MPs at National Scale, cost £4 per player). In proportion to players in each semifinal there will be a 10 table final on Sun 16th March 2pm (38 boards, Green points awarded, cost £9 per player).
