In the third and final round of the two counties event at Spondon Gambit scored +34 to secure first place in division 1 on the night. In division 2 Woodborough scored +33 and extended their lead in the division while in division 3, Phoenix were the best performers for Notts with +18.

At the end of the competition Gambit finished in first place in division 1 on +75 ahead of their main rivals Matlock. Woodborough topped division 2 with a score of +70 with Alderclarke in second place on +43 while in the third division, Nottingham Mechanics finished in first place on +47 with Phoenix second with a score of +39.

Notts trailed overall by -56 in division 1 but the deficit was more than made up by the Notts teams in divisions 2 and 3 to give Nottinghamshire an overall winning total of +56.
