Joining the New Melville Bridge Club

You can join the New Melville by filling out our on-line application form, the link to which is further below. The annual club subscription, which falls due on 1 October, is just £35

Full Away Membership

If you are a member of another Scottish Bridge Union (SBU) club you will already have an SBU number and should apply for 'Full Away' membership.

Full Home Membership

Players who do not possess an SBU number must must apply for 'Full Home' membership. The club will apply on your behalf for an SBU number. An additional £12 SBU subscription will be added to your bill when we collect subscriptions in the autumn.

Associate Membership

If you are a Melville Bridge Academy student and you would like to start taking part in our club tournaments* you should apply to be an Associate Member. We waive the annual club membership fee whilst you are in our classes, lessons 1 - 60 (only). The club will apply to the SBU for an SBU number which you will need when playing in club tournaments. 

However, in the autumn, when the club collects annual subscriptions, you will be charged the annual SBU subscription of £12.

*It is not necessary to become an Associate member if you only wish to take part in our Gentle Pairs on Wednesday afternoons or our Improvers Pairs on Tuesday evenings.
