Thursday 14th April will be a SIM Pairs event rather than the normal "relaxed" hosted duplicate and all those playing on the night must enter the SIM Pairs event for which there will be an additional £3 entry fee.

A host will be available so if you want to play but don't have a partner for the night, you can be asured of a game.

"Standard Acol" system cards will be available so that if you are a new pairing, or do not already have your system written down, you will have a ready made system to use or amend as necessary.

Note that according to the EBU rules & regulations, the definition of a convention card includes:

"a simplified convention card such as the front of an EBU scorecard, if the partnership's methods are sufficiently straightforward to need no further explanation"
