ROUND THE HOUSES COMPETITIONS
Both competitions are open to everybody. They are fun events played in people's homes, rounds being played between now and May next year. The entry lists are posted on the club noticeboard so please get your names down.
The first competition is the Rubber Bridge KO competition. This competition appeals to both regular rubber players and those who mainly play duplicate.
The two life knockout format will be the same as last year with a round very 5-7 weeks over the winter period. Each match consists of 24 or 27 hands, matches being played in each other's house. The winning pair will be presented with a handsome silver trophy at the New Year Party. Entry fee is £2 per pair.
The second competition is the teams of four round robin. The format will be the same as last year with matches taking place in competitors' houses. The format is a normal team format over 24 hands.
