R.I.P. Sula Turpin |
We've just heard the very sad news that Sula Turpin died on Sunday after a sudden collapse earlier in the week. She was such a lovely person and we are shocked to lose her so unexpectedly. She has been an active member of Newbury Bridge Club for a very long time. She was a good player and very popular with everyone. Our commiserations go out to her friends and family.
The funeral will be on Friday 3rd January 2025 at 5pm at the Basingstoke Crematorium followed by a wake afterwards at the Fox Inn (nearby). Everybody is welcome at the funeral. If you want to attend the wake please let me know at brianmedhurst@hotmail.co.uk so I can inform the family for catering purposes.
