Change of Venue |
Thursday Afternoon Bridge at Chieveley: We will be playing at Chieveley on 26th June and then moving to Boxford Village Hall for all the Thursdays in July and August with one exception – on 31st July, we will be at Stockcross Village Hall. Storage at Boxford Village Hall is rather limited, so we are looking for volunteers who will be willing to store one or two bridge tables and bring them along to the sessions. Please contact Janet Fuller if you are able to help.
To get to Boxford Village Hall: It’s on the Lambourn Road and the postcode is RG20 8DD. When leaving Newbury, take the A4 to the B4000. Drive through Stockcross and through Wickham Heath. Turn right at the first crossroads after Wickham Heath. This is High Street – drive along it to the end – it gets quite narrow in places. You will arrive at a T-junction with the Boxford Restaurant in front of you. Turn left, drive a short way up a slight incline. There is a lone house on your right and the Village Hall is just past that on your right. Hope to see you there!
