BRIDGE LIBRARY

Some members may not be aware that we have a small but perfectly formed Library of books and other media for you to borrow without charge. It is located behind the door from the entrance room towards the kitchen.

There is material applicable for Beginners to Advanced players and a sheet to record name of borrower and return date: very simple.

I am unaware of any other Club in Highland with such a facility.

Please make good use of it!

FRIDAY ONLINE BRIDGE at NESS CLUB

IT'S SO GOOD IT'S GOING TO CONTINUE!

Ness Club will continue running our own online tournament on BBO every Friday evening starting at 7pm in conjunction with the usual face to face sessions starting in club from 16th August. However members are asked to register for play between 5pm and 6.30 pm. This allows time for any last minute adjustments in the set up of the evening's play. (Any problem getting logged in by 6.30 pm, contact Val on 01381 621379)

To prepare for taking part in online play . . . .

1) Register with Bridge Base Online and create your user name. For further details, click on BBO Info (menu)

2) Register your details with Ness Club to be put on the 'include list'. This is a one off registration giving

you the option to play online in Ness Tournaments. Click on BBO Links (menu) to access the form.

Logging in to play on the Friday evening is done as a partnership. For further details click on BBO info (menu)

3) * Register your user name with the SBU - this is important in the smooth running of the masterpoints system. *

Ness Bridge Club was founded over twenty years ago. The club offers a varied programme of matchpoint and teams play, together with National and District events in the winter months. In addition, the club runs three teams in the District league. Matchpoint and teams play continues over the summer months and learners' classes are available from October each year.

New members and visitors are always welcome
