A Message from our Secretary |
Hi Everybody
Our 36th AGM will be on Thursday 25th April (apologies for the earlier incorrect date) in the Downstairs room of the Caledonian Thistle Social Club at 6.30pm, with bridge after. Our Summer bridge season will start the following week till the beginning of September
Please look in your recent email for the minutes of last year's AGM, a provisional Agenda for this year (anything you'd like to add to it please let me know) and a Nomination form for your committee for next year 24/25.
All these documents will be on the notice board too, but just to get you thinking of what you might like to discuss at this year's AGM I'm sending you this memory aid.
Look forward to seeing you there.

NESS BRIDGE CLUB WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS |
Sharpen your brain with this great card game and meet new friends
If you are looking for a friendly club to play bridge then we would be delighted for you to join us here at the Ness Club ( Use Second Tab on the left ). Whether you are an accomplished player or a complete beginner we are pleased to accommodate you and you can even join us for a few sessions to get the feel for us without obligation. Contact us to arrange this.
LEARN BRIDGE at the NESS BRIDGE CLUB, INVERNESS.
Beginners' Evening Classes start each October. Please contact us as soon as possible to book onto the next course.
The sessions use the Scottish Bridge Union's excellent 20 week course introducing Beginners to the great card game of Bridge. You will be playing face to face, not online and excellent feedback confirms that most beginners find this a far easier way to learn.
IMPROVERS also play on Tuesday evenings throughout the year in a very relaxed and informal social atmosphere where you can learn from experts on hand. You do not need to have a partner.
For full details click the side panel entry marked ''LEARNING BRIDGE''.

BRIDGE LIBRARY |
Some members may not be aware that we have a small but perfectly formed Library of books and other media for you to borrow without charge. It is located behind the door from the entrance room towards the kitchen.
There is material applicable for Beginners to Advanced players and a sheet to record name of borrower and return date: very simple.
I am unaware of any other Club in Highland with such a facility.
Please make good use of it!
