If you require a partner, please use our find a partner feature. Go to the calendar,(4th option on menu, top left hand side of the screen),  put your cursor over the date you are looking for a partner, click the partner required button and follow the instructions. Go on, give it a go.

If you then get a partner, go back to the calendar, put your cursor over the date you were looking for a partner, click the partner required button , then click the remove request button and your request will no longer show. If you have been logged out, so the remove partner option is not showing, log in using your bridge number, then click the partner required button , then click the remove request button and your request will no longer show

When: Tuesday nights 18,25, November and 1st December
This competition is open to ALL members and Monday night players are encouraged to enter.
Use the calendar to reserve your booking or there is an entry sheet at the front of the playing room.
You must enter in pairs .

Christmas Party

Saturday 6th December 

 

Dust off your old Santa Hats, Elf ears or any Christmas dress ups you may have (or not) and join us for the fun and comradery at our Bridge club Christmas Party. 

We have our usual caterers providing the beautiful Christmas dinner we have enjoyed on previous years. The menu is displayed on the notice board in the foyer. 

 

1pm: Arrival time with greeting, a complimentary drink and Christmas nibbles.  

1.30pm:Play commences. 

3pm:Afternoon tea with Christmas cake. 

5pm:Prize Giving and social time, drawing of Christmas hamper raffle, bottle of wine for best Christmas dress up. 

6pm:Dinner. 

 

Registration is simple. Put your name on the sheet at the front of the bridge room and tick your option. 

Option 1:Bridge play plus dinner $50 

Option 2:Bridge play only                 $15 

Option 3:Meal only $42 

Payment. Just use your Compass Account. Pay the requisite amount of $$ for the option you choose and make sure you put the reference XMAS (not Table).

Wednesday Mentoring seated 12:30 for a 12.45 p.m start.

No scoring, no tablets, plenty of time to discuss the hands.
Beginners welcome. Bring a partner or meet a new one.

If you do not have a partner please look and see who is looking for a partner, by going to our people looking for a partner page. If no one is looking, or the person looking, isn't a fit for you, go to the what's on calendar page, for the event you need a partner for, click on the find a partner image and enter your information.

If you are a visitor or haven't been successful finding a partner, please come along ready to play, at least 5 minutes before seating time,  on all dates except Tuesdays. On Tuesday evenings you must have a partner arranged.

 Mondays

 

Monday – seated by 6.45 p.m. for a 7.00 p.m. start

 

Monday evenings are for less experienced players. The purpose of these evenings is to provide a relaxed environment for players to improve their game while playing against people of a similar standard.

One three-night competition in May is for Monday night players playing with a Tuesday night player – please see the calendar of upcoming events for details. All players and visitors are welcome on this night but only Monday/Tuesday partnerships may win the event.

If you are a visitor or haven't been successful finding a partner, please come along ready to play, at least 5 minutes before seating time

Tuesdays 

 

Tuesday – seated by 7.05 p.m. for a 7.25 p.m. start

 

Tuesday evenings are for Senior and more experienced players.

 

 

Wednesdays 

 

Wednesday – On hold  at the moment, Richmond bridge club are running some sessions 

 

Wednesday afternoons are very social and informal, suitable for all abilities. You do not need a partner for these sessions. Usually, there will be an experienced player to answer questions and advise about hands.

Thursdays 

Thursday – seated by 6.45 p.m. for a 7.00 p.m. start

 

Thursday evenings are for a more social game. Master Points are awarded on raw scores but the overall result over a 3-week session is determined by handicap scores. Players of any ability are welcome.

 

Some three-night competitions are for Monday night players playing with a Tuesday night player – please see the calendar of upcoming events for details. All players and visitors are welcome on these nights but only Monday/Tuesday partnerships may win the event.

Friday afternoons are very friendly, social sessions are held every Friday afternoon for players of all abilities. Master Points are awarded on raw scores but the overall result  is determined by handicap scores. Play is open to all members and visitors.
