Chronicle Cup qualifiers names for semi finals to Graham Cox

This is the first entry form for the Chronicle Cup in 1932 this competition was direct entry and played at the Chronicle Hall, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

By 1934 there were 100 pairs playing which at that time was a national record. The seating arrangements were published in The Chronicle and the first round was a qualifier, the first three pairs North/South & East/West in each section going through to the final the following week.

In 1935 there were 118 pairs entered.

In 2022 Chronicle Cup was entry via Club heats and in the Semi-finals we had 28 pairs
