Cunningham League |
 |
The Cunningham League finals (postponed from May) took place recently online on BBO and we are delighted to announce that Naas Maudlins took home the B1 AND the Novice trophies this year. Well done to team captains, Carolyn Dore and Eilis Martin and all their team members on another great year. This season's Cunningham League starts on November 29th and we have 4 teams entered again this year so we wish them good luck

Regional Player of the Year |
Last year Naas Maudlins took home both the Novice and B Grade Player of the Year awards - won by Teresa Creaton and Pat Dempsey. We are delighted to say that this year it is again 2 of our members winning these prestigous awards. Michael Meehan is the Novice Player of the Year and Annette Head is the B Player of the Year.

Naas Pairs 2020 |
The annual Naas Pairs was held in Maudlins Hotel on Saturday 11th January and there were a few good results for our members. Sonya (partnered by Joe Coyne) came 3rd overall and Pat and Melanie took the prize for best As.

Michael & Jim were the top placed Novices in this year's CBAI SIM Pairs
NOT just for the Tuesday night but for the WHOLE week
What can we say about our Novices - that's the second year in a row we have had the no 1 slot

We got a lovely mention on the KWWSPCA Facebook page today saying thanks for our generous donation from the recent Charity Night. Thanks again to all members who supported the night.

Regional Player of the Year |
This year the Mid Leinster Region decided to award a Player of the Year Award. There were four awards, Master, A, B and Novice. We are thrilled to say that TWO of those awards went to players from Naas Maudlins.
Teresa Creaton won Novice Player of the Year and Pat Dempsey won Player of the Year at B grade.
Huge congratulations to both players - well deserved.

The inaugural Naas Pairs Competition was held in Maudlins Hotel on Saturday 18th November 2017
There were 19 tables which was an excellent turn out and it was a great day of bridge and fun
Well done to Annette and the regional committee for all the hard work they put in to making it such a success
Naas Maudlins figured very well in the prizes
