CONTRACT BRIDGE ASSOCIATION OF IRELAND

CHIEF EXECUTIVE

The mission of the Contract Bridge Association of Ireland is to promote and develop bridge as a social and community activity highlighting the particular health benefits of maintaining effective brain function, providing opportunities to foster friendships and promote community spirit.

 

We are now seeking an inspirational leader who is used to operating at a senior level with the necessary interpersonal skills and knowledge of the game of bridge together with the business and financial acumen to be able to take the association on to the next stage of its development.

This photograph was taken on 2nd February 1990 at the Malin Hotel marking Gerarld Monagle's Presidents night. A specially made wallet and money was presented to Mr Denis Doherty, who had been Tournament Director since the formation of the Club in 1970.  
Mr Tadhg Brennan travelled from Dublin especially for the occasion.

  FUNBRIDGE

Funbridge Tournament

CBAI have started a daily Funbridge tournament for players, from which Master Points will be awarded. Any players who register with Funbridge should include their NBID, so that CBAI can correctly allocate the points.


 

  INISHOWEN VIRTUAL CLUB

The VIRTUAL Inishowen Bridge Club is now up and running on Bridge Base Online and is open to all members of Buncrana, Carndonagh and Moville Bridge Club.

  WEST DONEGAL BRIDGE CLUBS ONLINE

Did you know there is now a virtual game on Thursday evenings within the Region - West Donegal Bridge Clubs online and there are two tournaments - one for Seniors and one for Intermediates and Novices.  Results for these competitions can be viewed on the Regional Website.
