Cath Fox has asked all ECBA clubs to display an advertisement for a new website and initiative for Youth Bridge. Click here for what it has to say, and follow the onward links, including those detailing local activities. While not of direct relevance to members, this is an important initiative, and members may have children or - more likely - grandchildren, who might enjoy the game. Or friends with the same. If the game is to survive, it needs new blood.

'Play it again'

Have you yet tried the 'Play it Again' feature available on this website via the Results Pages?  Click on your name in the Rankings List to view your Scorecard. Then in the board list on the right of the screen, select the board of interest and click on 'Play it Again'.  From the comfort of your own home, you can see how you could / should have made that slam!

Find a Partner - Members Only
Find a Partner Scheme - Members

If you are looking for a partner, you have three basic options that are restricted to Club Members:-

  • Log in to the Membership Area where you can view current contact details for all members, and you can optionally send email(s) to players of interest to you (see the panel below about 'Accessing the Members' Area if necessary).
  • Use the online Partner Request service available through this website (see the menu to the left of this box - the row immediately below this menu item; see the panel about 'Accessing the Members' Area if necessary); the advantage of this method is that your request is posted immediately though the disadvantage is that you may need to wait for other players to see the post. If your request is satisfied (you will receive an email from interested parties which you can accept or refuse), update the Members Area again to say the request is satisfied, to save being pestered further.
  • Reply to any "Partner?" messages on the Calendar that have appeared as a result of members posting Partner Requests as above. Click on the message and follow the instructions.

Alternatively, as a trial service which is available to both Members and Non-Members, complete the 'Find a Partner - All' form in the menu item above.
