| BRIDGE SESSIONS |
Sundays in March: No bridge 23/3, Interclub teams 10am 30/3, social bridge 1.30pm 30/3
Mondays at 1.00pm and 7.15pm (Special event 31/3, 7/4 and 14/4)
Tuesdays at 1.00pm and 7.15pm - open section plus Beginners Duplicate section
Thursdays at 1.00pm
First Friday of the month at 1.00pm - Social Bridge (No scoring)
Practice and Development - Friday 11 April at 1pm - register here
First session of the month for each day is IMPs scoring unless there is a special event.
Special Events replace normal sessions at those times.
$7 per session for members and $10 for non-members, red point events $8 - $10. The club is cash free - vouchers can be purchased at the club using a debit or credit card. Price changes to a flat fee of $10 per session ($15 for non members) from 1 April 2025.

| IRENE ENGLISH MEMORIAL TROPHY |
Sunday 30 March 10am - 5.30pm approx, Irene English Memorial Trophy (Red Point) to be held at Moonee Valley Bridge Club, cost $20 per player. BYO lunch, tea and coffee available, bar open and snacks provided after the event. Registrations CLOSED. This event is named after Irene English who was a member of both the Moonee Valley and Williamstown Bridge Clubs. It is an interclub event, open only to Williamstown and Moonee Valley Bridge Club Members. Five teams from MVBC will compete against five teams from Williamstown BC.

Register here for this Red Point Event for those with fewer than 300 Masterpoints, played on Monday afternoons over 3 weeks from 31 March to 14 April. Those with more than 300 Masterpoints can play but are ineligible to win prizes or the title. Members and non-members may enter, only Moonee Valley members can win the title. System Cards required.

| BILL JACOBS: SECRETS OF SLAM BIDDING |
Register here for this seminar to be held on 11 April at 10am followed by an optional Practice and Development Session. Bidding and making a slam is one of the great buzzes for a bridge player. It's not just the bonus points available: it's that slams are quite infrequent beasts, and they can require a lot of skill to be confidently bid. We will go beyond the #1 method of bidding slams, Blackwood, and look at how to craft the entire auction, including:
- How to determine that you are in the slam zone
- What to do then
- Roman Keycard Blackwood
