We are running RealBridge pairs sessions every Monday evening at 6.45pm.  Up to 24 boards - £1 each 

 RB Lounge is open all the time.  No need to book your own private table.   Up to 20 boards   FREE to play - anytime!  If you need new boards, please let either Sarah or Liam know and we shall change them

 

If you want to play in our RealBridge sessions then please follow instructions below.

If there are 2 of you playing in the same house, you must be in separate rooms.  This is to stop the feedback from the speakers ruining your fun!

Instructions on how to Join the Game

  • Please log in at least 10 minutes before the start of the match. Doors will be open at 6.15pm
  • Type in your Full Name  eg Mary Doll  - NOT mary doll, or M Doll, or Mary, or Mary D, or MARY DOLL 
  • ID is your SBU membership number
  • If you are colour blind, tick the UI Contrast box
  • Click the Login box.  This takes you to the lobby.
  • Choose a seat, (eg click SIT E) fill up the tables from the top please.
  • If you are having technical difficulties, you can get help by calling Sarah on 01674 676308

4. How to update your Browser 

In Chrome and Edge, you need to click the 3 little dots in the top right corner of the page.

6.  Information for Mac Users

If you are using any of these

  • MacBook or other Apple laptop
  • iMac or other Apple desktop

and you have downloaded the latest version of the Mac operating system, Big Sur, you can now use Safari.  As well as Chrome.

iPads with iOS 15

This is the advice that we first circulated in December 2021. Many iPad users have followed the advice, and now have no more problems.

The latest release of iOS – version 15 – causes problems when playing on RealBridge. The symptoms are:

  • Loss of video and/or audio.
  • Freezing, so that you can’t click anything.

The problem may occur at every table, or it may only occur against some opponents.

There is no need to suffer these problems – RealBridge have a solution which takes a few minutes to do. It will solve the problem permanently.

If you have iOS 15, please do follow RealBridge’s advice. Even if you are not having problems now, this will prevent you from having problems in the future.

If you have an iPad with iOS 15, and you have not already updated your iPad as recommended by RealBridge in December/January, there is a settings change that you should make.

RealBridge are very happy to talk you through the procedure. You can contact them on the number above. It will take only a few minutes.

If you have an iPad with iOS 15, and you have already updated your iPad as recommended by RealBridge on or after 8 December, we also recommend that you upgrade to iOS 15.3.1. You do not need to make any other settings changes.

If you have made the changes but you are still having problems, please contact RealBridge, and they will help you to check your settings.

For all iPads with iOS 15, you should use Safari, not Google Chrome.

MacBooks and iMacs with Monterey or Safari 15

If you have a Mac that has been upgraded to macOS Monterey, and you use Safari, please see the instructions here:
