We are sad to hear Alan Pocock has died.  Alan has been an active member for many years. He was a very accomplished player and won many of our competitions. He was part of the winning team when Montrose first won the CD's Russell French Teams trophy.  This photo was taken in 2023 when he and Wendy, Liam and Abi won the CD Congress teams.  Alan and Elizabeth spent the winter months in Spain, playing lots of golf and bridge until his illness stopped him enjoying those pleasures.  Each summer they returned to Montrose and he would play as often as he could manage. RIP, Alan.

Winter Bridge is played every Tuesday evening in the Congregational Hall, Baltic St, Montrose. 

Please arrive no later than 6.35pm to enable us to start at 6.45pm

You MUST bring your own mug

Montrose Bridge Club is now in its 78th year!   We are proud to be affiliated to the Scottish Bridge Union and part of the Central District.

We meet every Tuesday at 6.35 for a 6.45 start, in the Congregational Church Hall, Baltic Street, Montrose.  We play Match Point, Aggregate and Teams.  Visitors are very welcome, but best to check the calendar to make sure we are not running a team or SBU event.  Visitors can play in these, but we need to know you are coming first.

Our Main season starts the last Tuesday in August until mid April, where we play competitive duplicate bridge and SBU Master points are awarded.    In the summer months we play No Fear bridge to encourage beginners/improvers and new partnerships to come along and play in  more relaxed play.

We also play on the RealBridge online platform each Monday at 6.45, and masterpoints are awarded
