We are going to do something different this year for the Barbara Sims award.  This is awarded to a person in appreciation of their contribution to our members' enjoyment of bridge.  Nominations can be sent to Diana Noel at dmnoel@rogers.com.

We are also looking for volunteers to take over the following processes:

1. Weekly email blasts and update of website
2. Bulletin board and signs for events
3. Revamp and clean up the website
4. Head of social committee

Please contact a member of the Board if you are interested in volunteering.

This event is to get newer players familiar with the Swiss team format, strategy and scoring.

Wednesday June 17 - Longest day event for Alzheimer's

Mark this date in your calendar!  We are going to make it an evening game so all can attend.   If you can provide any items for the draw, please contact Catherine at cathgriffin@rogers.com or Louise Hamel at hamelouise@gmail.com.  We have also been informed that the member will once again this year match what the club makes.  The challenge is on to increase it over last year.  .

Great News - We are holding another local sectional - November 13-15

2026 Memberships are now due - Avoid extra costs - buy your membership now! We have decided to increase non-member game fees to $14, an increase of $2.  This makes buying a membership a great deal as now you save $4 per game.  Pay back on a membership is now 18 games in the year.  This increase will take effect on May 1, 2026.

Please note that this is the first increase in any fee in the last 3 years.  We hope to keep fees the same as long as possible but we all know that costs are increasing.
