Treasurers Report

As at 31st Dec 2022 stands at £10,009. but outstanding bills hall rental £1,876 ( in retrospect) and £72 for master points. Vida Halford had audited the account and was happy with the final account,but we need to be more dlligent with the payslips.

new treasurer is having problems with opening up online banking.   Proposed  Cathy Mangles, Seconded Peter Halligan.

Chairmans Report

Colin thanked Graham Norris and Glyn  Williams for all their efforts in running and directing bridge on every tuesday and wednesday. And thanking every one for adhering to covid regulations. Barrie Waite, a founder member of mid glam bridge club

over 43 years ago has stepped down from the committee, and was thanked for all his efforts over these years and presented with a bottle of scotch.

Other Issues

Table money- due to the increase costs for tea coffee biscuits and possible increase in hall rents, the committtee wanted to increase table fees to £3. The floor felt this should not happen until we know what the fees may be and as such table fes remain at £2.

And we have an extraordainary meeting if we need to increase fees. There was a discussion about the amount of biscuits consumed, this will be monitored. No other issues arising.
