| CHARITY EVENTS |
There will be 2 Charity Events shortly. Firstly on Wednesday 28 October the charity benefiting is the
British Heart Society. The biggest killer in this country. This was one of the charities nominated by you.
On 11 November the charity will be Children in Need. All money collected (including Table Money) will be sent to the charities concerned.
Please note on the Children in Need event there will be a draw for partners based on two pots. One pot with a positive handicap and the other with a negative handicap.

| New Secretary and Treasurer |
Following the 2026 AGM the new Secretary is Elaine Barnett and the Treasurer is Gill Daniels. In October Gill has just moved to another house elsewhere so has resigned as Treasurer, please please speak to Elaine or Colin if you are willing to take on the role.

Weekly Table money is £2.50, if possible please bring the correct change.

We will be starting Wednesday bridge at 1300. Please be there 10 minutes before the session so that play can start on time.

Can all Members please assist in helping put items away at the end of play, If you are sitting out on the last round please clear your table as quietly as possible and tidy up the kitchen,

| Anyone wishing to learn to play bridge |
for anyone wishing to learn how to play bridge , we have an assisted play morning every Tuesday at 09.30, where you can ask any questions about your hand before you bid.
