This morning, we held a Ladies v Gentleman's match. Despite Christine's handicapping system the Gents had a good win. The victorious Gent's team on the left, with the weeping Ladies on the right. The "lady" in the blue cap on the right was on loan to the Ladies, but only until the game was completed.

Our final bowls morning before handing over to Christine and Ken. We must say we have thoroughly enjoyed our time spent here at the Don Pablo. Its been lovely to meet up with old friends and making new ones. This morning we played fixed mats just moving them 1.2 metres away from the longest "T" point. We also put the players into an open mystery pairing. At the end of the day we still ended up with a draw, so our picture shows the pairing of Linda Scott and Joan Ponting along with Jean Watson and Dave Pigram. So its goodbye from Malc & Mo. We hope to see you next season.

A packed green today utilising all rinks. We started with a round robin to ascertain our two winners of the day. However by chance on the last set we had all Ladies vs Gents matches. This added a bit of extra spice to complete the morning. The Gents ran out winners on the last end by 4 shots. Our winners of the day were Brian Algar, Shirley Brooke and John Watson. John and Brian had the same score.

A wonderful sunny day today but the greens were a bit wet after yesterday's rain. We played 4,3,2,1 in four end Triples. After our three round robins the top of the leader board was very close. Our winners of the day Shirley Brooke and Dave Pigram. Congratulations to Pat and Dave Pigram who are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today.

Jumpers off this morning on a lovely spring day. We played Fixed Jack but scored in the normal way to help the less experienced players. We played triples and pairs using most rinks through the morning. We had a tie for the men, so our picture shows Shirley Brooke (our ladies winner) in between our Irish pair George Watson and Jerry Daly.

Well done to all our bowlers who turned up this morning. There was a chilly wind blowing in off the sea which saw some players leave before the last set. As it happened the wind dropped during the last 4 ends. Our picture shows the plucky people who played all morning. Our winners Shirley Brooke and Arthur Gray are encompassed by some of those who stayed. Following on from yesterday I'm pleased to report that David the spider has safely returned to Wales. Sammy the spider says another cousin "Paddy" might make an appearance on 17th Marchsmiley.

1st March, St Davids day. So, we decided to start the day with a spider. Sammy the spider's cousin from Wales " David" made a special guest appearance. Our winner "George Watson" was also todays highest gent scorer. He is pictured holding David the spider beside Ruth Carey our ladies winner of the day. Who luckily isn't afraid of spiders.
