On Colin and David's last day looking after the bowlers, 22 bowlers turned up to play on what is probably the hottest day yet! We haven't lost a day of bowling as the weather has been so perfect every day that we have played. Competition was very stiff amongst the Ladies and we had joint winners, Annette Hennessey and Carol Spark. The Gentleman winner, who won by a large margin, was again John Armstrong.

Our photo shows John Armstrong (Gentleman winner) on the left, then Iris Hudspeth (Ladies winner). On the right are Brian Nicholls and Janet Gibson, Mystery Pairs winners.

Another very busy bowling day with 26 players on the links. We were fortunate once again with lovely weather but bowling proved difficult and scores were low. 2 Ladies shared first place, Sue Snook and Pat Dean and Phil Jackson was, once again, the best gentleman. It was lovely for Pat to be a winner on her last bowling session as she is leaving after a long and hopefully enjoyable stay with us in Torremolinos.

The sun was beating down on the bowlers this morning and there was very little breeze, which resulted in some high scoring ends. It was a family affair that ran out winners, with Jean and John Watson taking the honours. Well done Both.
