Four intrepid bowlers stepped out on a chilly Green this morning. They are pictured from Left to Right - Jennifer Northmore, Martin Bowler, Anne Ashley and Alan Greenhill. Martin emerged with a very narrow victory by one point and the sun came out, ironically, as we ended play!

There has been a hard-fought day on the Green today, resulting in a very narrow win again for Anne Ashley. There were only 2 points between the top 4 players, one had 6 points, 2 had 7 and Anne sneaked in at the end with 8 points. Well done all.

And so to the first session of the New Year. Players only just arriving so numbers are low but there was a convincing winner today with Anne Ashley beating off strong competition from Jenny Northmore and Chris Chappell. Anne is on the left in the photo.
