MAYFIELD DUPLICATE BRIDGE CLUB

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – Tuesday 7th April 2026

The fortieth Annual General Meeting of the Mayfield Duplicate Bridge Club will be held at St. John’s Church Hall on Tuesday 7^th April 2026 at 7.00 pm.

All members are invited to attend, and the Committee hopes that as many members as possible will be able to do so. Bridge will take place immediately afterwards; no table money will be charged but members will be encouraged to pay their annual subscription by Sum-Up.

AGENDA

1. Apologies for Absence.
    
2. Minutes of the thirty-ninth Annual General Meeting held on 15^th April 2025.  These will be posted on the website and it is hoped that they will be taken as read.  Should any member wish to have a personal copy, this can be obtained from the Hon. Secretary, Keith Jackson.

3. Reports from Officers
   1. The Chairman
   2. The Hon. Secretary
   3. The Hon. Treasurer
   4. The Captain – this includes the presentation of cups and prizes

There will be copies of the reports on the notice board and on the website in advance of the Meeting and these will be taken as read.  Any member wishing to have a copy beforehand should apply to Keith Jackson. The 2025/26 accounts will be presented at the meeting.

4. Elections and Appointments
   1. Officers – Chairman: Hon. Secretary: Hon. Treasurer
   2. Committee – up to 6 other members
   3. Hon. Examiner

All nominations must be received in writing by Keith Jackson at least 7 days prior to the Meeting

5. Any Other Business

Any other subject that you wish to raise must be received in writing at least 7 days before the Meeting to guarantee its inclusion in the agenda.
