A normal teams imp scoring will be used to determine the winning team.
Ted Spreckley Cup
This is a pairs competition which runs right through the whole club year. It is a "ladder type" competition where a pair's position in the ladder is determined by the average of all the percentage scores achieved over all the sessions played in the whole year. Orientation(ie East/West or North/South) is irrelevant as all percentages achieved with the same partner will be taken into consideration.
The winners will be the pair with the highest average percentage, however, to win the competition, the pair must have played at least 20 sessions with the same partner over the year.
Francis Wyatt Cup
This is a one session pairs competition.
If a Mitchell movement is used then an "arrow switch" movement will be used to achieve a one winner result.
Committee Cup
This is an individual competition which runs right through the whole club year. It is a "ladder type" competition where an individual's position in the ladder is determined by the average of all the percentage scores achieved over all the sessions played in the whole year. Orientation(ie East/West or North/South) is irrelevant as all percentages achieved(irrespective of whether played with the same partner or not) will be taken into consideration.
The winner will be the individual with the highest average percentage score, however, to win the competition, the individual must have played at least 20 sessions(irrespective of whether played with the same partner or not) over the year.
Individuals who have won the Ted Spreckley Cup are not eligible to win this competition - the winner then will be the individual next down in the ladder.
