Hi everyone, 

We have organised our Away Day in Stackstown Golf Club for Saturday the 26th 2025.

We will start off with lunch at 12.30 p.m. 

At approximately 1.30 p.m., we will play Bridge, breaking around 3.30 p.m. for a tea/coffee break, and then resume playing when we will finish at 6.30 p.m. for dinner.

The cost will be €35.00 to include lunch, tea break and three course dinner.

The preferred payment method is by bank transfer to the Marley Bridge Club account. IBAN is IE47BOFI90109526203009   BIC is BOFIIE2D   Please ensure that you identify yourself when making the payment. 

We had a very enjoyable day there for the last couple of years so it would be lovely to see everyone there..

Please advise of any dietary requirements.

As Stackstown Golf Club will need to know numbers, please book your place, by making payment, no later than the18th April 2025.

Scoring Matches IMPS
Victory Points Conversion

In teams boards are scored using IMPs (International Match Points).  One side is awarded IMPSs depending on the result of the board.  If the board is drawn then zero IMPs are awarded.

BBO calculates the IMPs so all the home team captain has to do is return the IMPs scores for both halves of the match to the league co-ordinator.

At the end of the match the difference in IMPS is calculated and converted to Victory Points using the scale on the Victory Point tab.  The total points allocated for each match is 20.

The league co-ordinator will then do the Victory Point conversion and enter the result on the league table.
