Message from Our President

Spring 2026

Well here we are already nearly 3 months into the New Year, and enjoying our weekly bridge sessions.

I am pleased to report that attendance on Wednesday night is very good, so a big thanks to all of you for keeping the Club alive and kicking!

There are still a number of members who are looking for a regular partner - please let me know and we will see if we can get you teamed up.

Don't forget to use the 'find a partner' facility on our web site for partner requests.

Our new payment system is about to launch and Larry is keeping us all updated on this. I have had some comments about paying by cash, and I want to assure those who wish to do, this that this is not a problem and can easily be accommodated in our new system.

As always myself, or anyone else on the committee, are here to ensure the smooth running of the club, and we welcome any ideas or suggestions you would like to put forward  - we are more than happy to look at these.

Take care everyone

Best wishes

Nigel Brewster

President

Update on Covid

It looks like cases of Covid are under control at the moment.

However we would ask that as individuals, it is vital that you do not attend the club, if you or anyone in your close family and friends are feeling unwell, as this could put all of us at risk, even though we are probably all up to date with our Covid jabs.  If you feel safer wearing a mask then that is absolutely fine.

Your committee will continue to monitor the ongoing situation, and meet any Government guidelines as they arise.

I hope this will put your mind at rest that we will react in an appropriate way, and we trust you will all do the same.

Remember that we do have Realbridge on a Monday if you are anxious about face to face Club Night.

Regards

Nigel
