- Table fees are £2 per person.

Learn to play Contract Bridge or improve your skills in a warm, friendly environment. Stretch your mind whilst enjoying good company.
The next session of 'Bridge for Beginners' , 'Improving your Play' tuition and 'Supervised Play' coaching starts at 2:15pm on Thursday 24th September 2026 in Market Bosworth Community Library (MBCL).
♥ 12 lessons of 2 hours each for 'Beginners' over 12 weeks is based on the English Bridge Union "Learn to play bridge in 24 hours".
♠ Tuition and coaching for 'Improvers' provided by EBU trained players.
♦ Price is £48 (£4 per session). All monies raised will be used to support your local community library (MBCL Charity No 1165437).

Nola Dobson KO Competition 2025/26
Belinda & Shelagh v John P. & Simon
We finally got the match played in spite of the Football Semi-Final. Congratulations to all 4 players for going ahead with the previous arrangements and thanks to our TD for having the nous to work out the system on the Realbridge website.
The Boys v Girls Final, which I am sure you all tuned in to, was a ding dong affair and some keen bidding sometimes proved too much to make the contract. A mistake in the scoring by Simon alerted the girls to contest the final hand not knowing they were still in with a chance. And guess what? the victors were........see the News Page
I hope the 15 weeks of anagrams were not too difficult and I know 1 or 2 let me know they were coping.
We now have to wait until September to start next year's competition, so happy holidays until then.
