What should I put for the bank transfer Reference?
Just your EBU number and nothing else please. We use your EBU number because it uniquely identifies you, whereas it is possible that we have members with the same surname or initials.
Who can make the payment?
Usually, you will make the bank transfer yourself, but it doesn't really matter who pays - as long as your EBU number is given as the Reference, then you will be credited.
Can one person's credit be used to pay for another?
Yes, but you must let us know so that we can set it up for you. This way of paying might be convenient for husband and wife (or other) partnerships. One person of the partnership pays the club for both of you. The person paying uses his or her EBU number as reference as usual, but whenever either of you play at the club, the payment will be taken from one person's credit.
If you wish to use your credit to pay for another, please let us know by clicking here.
How can I track how much credit I have left?
You will be able to log on to your website account at any time to see a full statement showing your payments, deductions and remaining balance. Please allow a few days for your payment to appear on the website.
The club will also email you with your personalised statement once a month.
How does the system know which sessions I've played in?
The system will automatically deduct the table money based on the names appearing in the Results for each session. You can be sure that you will only be deducted for sessions that you actually play in and will not be charged for those weeks when you don't play.
Will my credit be used to pay for my annual subscription?
Yes. When it comes around to that time of year, you can let us know that you wish to re-subscribe and the subscription will be deducted from your credit.
Is my credit level confidential?
Yes. Only you and those committee members with website administrator access will be able to see your credit level.
Can I have my credit refunded?
Yes, at any time, you can request a full refund of any credit that you have.
What happens if I forget to pay and I don't have enough credit to pay for a session?
There will be no checks at club sessions so you can always play even if you are temporarily in debit. All we ask is that you top up your account as soon as you realise. If you continue to owe the club money, then we will have a discrete word to remind you.
I don't have online banking and cannot make bank transfers, what can I do?
If you are unable to make a bank transfer and cannot arrange for someone else to make it on your behalf, then let us know.
How will I pay for a club supplied lunch?
It depends on the person preparing the lunch.
- If he or she wishes to be paid in cash, then you will need to bring cash, and it will work as it currently does.
- If he or she is happy for lunch to be cashless, then instead of paying cash, there will be a list of names by the serving hatch instead of a collecting bowl. Just tick your name and the lunch money will be deducted from your credit. The lunch provider will be paid by the club, either as a bank transfer and/or as club credit.
- The website will state whether you need to bring cash for lunch money.
How will the Scorer and Director pay?

How will visitors pay?

How much does the Bridgewebs Attendance Module cost us?
The club's annual Bridgewebs subscription is increased by £24 per year (includes VAT).
