To help ensure an enjoyable and fair game for everyone, please keep the following key points in mind:

At the Table

• North is responsible for the boards on table
• Keep boards on the table at all times and do not cover or rotate them (vulnerability must remain visible).
• Do not touch the bidding box until you are ready to make your bid.
• Leave all bidding cards on the table until the opening lead is made.

Bidding & Communication

• Always alert partner’s artificial bids.
• Use the STOP card before making a jump bid.
• Avoid giving unauthorised information (UI) in any way—this includes:
  
  
  • Hesitating before passing
  • Sighing or reacting to partner’s bid
  • Unusual emphasis when placing bids or cards
  • Any comments about the bidding or play
• If you receive unauthorised information from partner, you must not act on it if there is a logical alternative.

Play of the Cards

• If declarer touches or names a card from dummy, it is considered played.

Most Important – Call the Tournament Director

• If anything unusual or incorrect happens, please call the Tournament Director immediately.
• Do not try to resolve the situation yourself - the Tournament Director is there to handle it.
• Please don’t feel reluctant to call the Tournament Director; it is a normal part of the game and helps ensure fairness for everyone.
