In our last charity event of the year we raised £800 for Prevent Breast Cancer. All in all we have over the 9 months since we started our charity events in April raised £8,650! This is over and above all the charitable work done by the clubs in the county! There is no doubt that we have given local charities a much needed helping hand!
On behalf of them all, we would like to thank you for your generosity and support - you deserve more than just a pat on the back.

Januarys Charity Pairs, 27th January will be in support of Prostate Cancer Charity at Christie Hospital. They Headline their Web pages with:
Saving Lives. Making breakthroughs.
Holding hands. Wiping tears.
Lifting Spirits. raising funds.
Ringing bells. Beating cancer.
Help us keep touching lives.

In four months, together, we have raised £5,000 for various charities - your generous donations and a little extra from the County coffers, have made our Charity Wednesdays a huge success. We have received letters of sincerest thanks from all the recipients and I know we are making a huge difference. Thank you all.
Our next Charity Wednesday on 26th August will support THE SEASHELL TRUST whose school and residential accommodation is at Stanley Road, Cheadle Hulme.
This charity is dedicated to providing a creative, happy and secure environment for children and young people with complex and severe learning disabilities which include little or no language abilities. With the expertise of specialist teachers, care staff, onsite therapy team, assistive technologists, swimming teachers and sports coaches, our students learn how to express themselves, engage with the world around them, become more independent and live safe, creative and fulfilling lives. Residents live in accommodation equipped with sensory technology for their safety and wellbeing.
Please support another worthwhile cause on Wednesday Morning 26th August at 10.30am.
Many thanks
