This is the County's major knockout event and is therefore Green Pointed. Early rounds are 24 boards then later rounds are 32 boards. Matches may be played online or face to face, but If either captain does not wish to play online for any reason then (after discussion at the 2026 AGM) the default will be face to face. Members with primary allegiance to a different county cannot enter this event, but should be able to play in the equivalent event of that other county.
