COMPLETE BEGINNERS FOUNDATION COURSES
New courses for Beginners are held throughout the year at regular intervals both in the evening and during the day.
Details of these Courses, thier content and dates are on the Beginners' Courses Page.
Please contact David at the Club for more information or to enrol.
There are a number of ongoing activities for Newcomers and Improvers:-
MONDAY AFTERNOON SUPERVISED DUPLICATE WITH DAVID DEBBAGE at 1pm

David gives a brief lesson at 1pm followed by Supervised Duplicate finishing around 4.15pm
Partners always found.
TUESDAY EVENING SUPERVISED PLAY CLASS & LESSON WITH DAVID DEBBAGE at 7.30pm
(Suitable for Newcomers, Improvers & Refreshers)
David talks for about 30 minutes on the topic of the day and then helps and advises during the following supervised duplicate. Partners always found.
WEDNESDAY EVENING SUPERVISED PLAY CLASS at 7.30pm
(Suitable for Newcomers and Improvers)
THURSDAY EVENING SWISS PAIRS at 7.30pm
(Suitable for Improvers upwards)
This is not supervised play but is an ideal stepping stone to 'the real thing!'
After the first round your pair is matched against players of a similar standard so it's a friendly and enjoyable experience but a good opportunity to mix with people who are more experienced.
