Monday Real Bridge Link

We are happy to set up Real Bridge sessions on request from our members.

With Real Bridge you can

  • See and speak to your opponents - just like face-to-face bridge.
  • Bid and play using a modern, intuitive interface.
  • Connect with everyone at the table, or play with screens.
  • Browse deals with a versatile, user-friendly interface.
  • you need no special software installation required - just click a link, sit down and play

If you want to test it informally email Lesley and she will show you how it works and set up a sample session for you (and your partner or friends) .

Real Bridge?

Many people  which think  RealBridge is the next best thing to Face to Face since you can see and talk to your table.

We can set members up for a social or competitive game either on the Malmesbury Bridge Club account or with various other clubs and the EBU itself.    We normally aim to have a game on Monday afternoons-  but we are now hearing that members want to play on Thursday mornings after Keith's Zoom chat.  It's only worth setting up these sessions if we have at least 2 tables so if you are interested in playing please make a booking telling us when you want to play.  We will email you with links if we are able to run a session at that time.

If you want to find out more about Real Bridge before you play click on this link and look around.

If you haven't tried Real Bridge before..

First make sure your camera and microphone are working. Log out of any other applications.    Do the test here (allow time to do this, it could take up to 3 minutes).   https://play.realbridge.online/camera.html

If your camera and microphone work then you can enjoy the whole social experience of playing this way.   (If for some reason you don't want to be seen, then you can turn it off at the table)

When you have paid for a Malmesbury game you will be sent a link to play before the start time.

Click on the link, Enter your name. Use your email address as your ID -  or you can use your EBU number

Look around and sit at a table - join your friends or partner if they are already on line or choose a place at a table and wait for your friends and partner if they have not yet logged in.  When the tables are complete the director will start the game.
