The Swiss Teams Event of the Championship will be conducted from the 25th to the 27th of April, 2026

 Teams can have a minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 players in the team.

 All players are mandatorily required to have an active player ID registered with the BFI

 There will be 8 rounds of Swiss League of 10 boards each

 After 8 rounds, the top 8 teams along will qualify for the quarter finals

 The Quarter Finals and the Semi Finals will consist of three rounds of 10 boards each.

The winner of the event will be selected to represent the State in the Inter State Championships as Maharashtra A 

The finals will be of 3 rounds of 12 boards eac Each player has to play a minimum of 25% at each stage to be eligible
to participate in the next stage

  Entry Fee: Rs. 3,000 for a team of 4 + Rs. 750 per extra player

 Entry Deadline: 24th April 2026 by 1900 Hrs
