• The Swiss Teams Event of the Championship will be conducted from the 25th to the 27th of April, 2026

• Teams can have a minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 players in the team.

• All players are mandatorily required to have an active player ID registered with the BFI

• There will be 8 rounds of Swiss League of 10 boards each

• After 8 rounds, the top 8 teams along will qualify for the quarter finals

• The Quarter Finals and the Semi Finals will consist of three rounds of 10 boards each.

• The winner of the event will be selected to represent the State in the Inter State Championships as Maharashtra A 

• The finals will be of 3 rounds of 12 boards each

• Each player has to play a minimum of 25% at each stage to be eligible to participate in the next stage

• Entry Fee: Rs. 3,000 for a team of 4 + Rs. 750 per extra player

• Entry Deadline: 24th April 2026 by 1900 Hrs
