It is with sadness that we inform you that Michael Watson passed away on Friday 13 September after a long illness. He was a long standing and much respected member of the Club and a well known figure within Essex Bridge. He was one of our finest players who won many club competitions over the years. Our condolences go to his family, especially his wife Pat.
Michael’s funeral will be held at 12.30pm on Friday 11 October at St Edmund’s RC Church, 2 Traps Hill, Loughton IG10 1SZ. Afterwards the wake will be held at Loughton Bowls Club, Eleven Acre Rise, IG10 1AN, a two minute walk from the church. Car parking is available at the bowls club or the nearby leisure centre.

Welcome to the LOUGHTON BRIDGE CLUB website.
There is always a warm welcome at Grange Farm.
We play a good standard of duplicate bridge on Monday evenings (7.20-10.30 - please arrive by 7.10).
We play at the Grange Farm Centre, Grange Farm Lane, Chigwell IG7 6DP. From Chigwell High Rd turn off the roundabout into the new housing estate (covered in hoardings) and keep going until you see the centre on your left.
Please note that we have air conditioning which makes the room very comfortable in hot weather.
We are affiliated to the Essex Contract Bridge Association and the English Bridge Union.
