  • Make sure you are viewing the 2022 Edition ( if not click on Switch to 2022 Edition Button on top )
  • You should see these headings Rank Players Grades Matrix Details BSOL Analysis
  • Click on BSOL Analysis

🧭 1. Overall Context (See Image Below)

At the top:

  • Liverpool Bridge Club – Tuesday afternoon – shows the session name.
  • You’re viewing Board 5 (shown in the card layout).
  • The results are shown from the NS (North–South) perspective.

🎴 2. Key Information (top left box)

Contract Table

  • Contract / Declarer – what was played at the table.
  • Frequency – how many pairs played that contract.
  • Min/Max NS % – the range of North–South scores on that board.

For example:

Contract   Declarer   Frequency

2NT        N          1

2D         W          4

→ One pair played in 2NT by North, four in 2♦ by West.

📊 3. Main Results Table (middle section)

NS

EW

Bid

By

Lead

Tks Over

Target

Made

(NS)

NS %

EW %

Here’s what each column means:

  • Pairs (NS / EW) – the pair numbers for North–South and East–West.
  • Contract – final bid and strain (e.g., 2D W = 2 Diamonds by West).
  • Making – how many tricks were actually taken.
  • Double Dummy – what should be made with perfect play.
  • Score (NS) – the matchpoints from NS’s viewpoint (negative = bad for NS).
  • Percentage – relative score percentage.

Color coding:

  • Green = good result for NS.
  • Red = bad result for NS.

♠ 4. Hand Diagram (right box)

Shows the full deal (all four hands):

  • North at top, South at bottom.
  • East to right, West to left.
  • Vulnerability and dealer shown (e.g., Dir: N, Vul: NS).

💡 5. Bottom Table (small bottom right)

This shows makeable contracts double-dummy — for each denomination (♠, ♥, ♦, ♣, NT):

N 2 - - 3 -

S 2 - - 3 -

E - 3 1 1 1

W - 3 1 1 1

Means:

  • North can make 2C, 3S
  • East can make 3D,1H,1NT

• • etc.

This tells you what contracts were theoretically makeable with perfect play.

🔁 6. “Play It Again” Button

At the top left:

  • Opens an interactive replayer.
  • You can play through the deal card by card, test different lines, or let the program show the double-dummy optimal line.
  • Excellent for post-game analysis — e.g., “What if I had played low instead of finessing?”

⚙️ 7. Other Tabs

  • All Pairs / Personal / Accuracy / Board – navigate through the full results set.
  • < and > – move to the previous or next board.
  • Help – opens the BridgeWebs help section.

🧠 Practical Use

  1. Identify your board (find your pair number).
  2. Check what contract you reached.
  3. Compare with others — did others get to the same strain or better?
  4. Look at Double Dummy — was your play line optimal?
  5. Use “Play It Again” to practice alternative plays and see outcomes.
