This hand doesn't look great in No-Trumps to South but after one attempt to warn-off North there is little choice but to pass 3NT.

A Diamond lead looks obvious but declarer still needs to take care.

Declarer can see 4 Diamonds on the lead, plus three Spades, a Club and a Heart.

Timing is all important and North must play a Heart at trick two then switch to Clubs if the Heart is allowed to hold.
