The movements that we will use for Realbridge sessions will all be one-winner movements. The reason for this is that every pair is competing against ever other pair and the results can then all be used for the calculation of handicaps. Howell movements will be used for 2-6 tables because they are the fairest one-winner movements. In a Howell movement every pair plays every other pair and every pair plays all sets of boards. Switched Mitchells will be used for the remainder. Swiss pairs movements will not be used; they cannot be used for handicap purposes because there is an element of handicapping built in already. Also their use slows down the session because all boards have to be completed in a round before the next round can start.
