Attention to all our members.
There are some signs of a flickering candle at the distant end of the tunnel and it is to be hoped that the vaccine proves successful and that amongst other signs of a return to civilised normality. Liskeard Bridge Club would like to plan the start of a bridge playing programme. To help us with this would you please Email Roger Jones, The Club secretary rlj.romalea@gmail.com, Click here for email link. when you have had your second jab and confirm that you wish to return to playing at the club under appropriate conditions so that when there are sufficient numbers in this category and it is deemed safe and proper to do so, we can once more start to function again as a club.

Liskeard Bridge Club Bridge Holiday 2020 |
BRIDGE BREAK UPDATE
The proposed Bridge Break in early November at
THE LIVERMEAD HOUSE HOTEL TORQUAY
is obviously not feasible under present restrictions.
We have kept in touch with the Hotel as things have changed
and have recently confirmed that there is currently no likelihood of a
Club visit in the immediate future.
HOWEVER
The Hotel has made a very generous offer to our Club members of £65.00 per night per person
for dinner, bed and breakfast for a 3 or 4 night holiday.
This would apply to their limited number of single rooms and for people sharing rooms.
Tim Rew the General Manager has confirmed that the Hotel has been operating under
“covid safety” throughout the summer.
If you wish to take advantage please contact the Hotel directly
on 01803294361 www.livermead.com
