BBO Masterpoint Race - 9 December 2024

Full ladder as at 9 Dec can be found here.

Update after 9 Dec:

With just a few weeks left of the year, and The Links' BBO Masterpoint Race is drawing to an end.

Chris Bosenberg joined the race rather late, but with an average of 0.89 MPs/tournament, he gradually caught up with the pack, and recently overtook Merle to take the lead. He leads by over 8 MPs with an overall tally quickly approaching 150 MPs for the year. .

Delys Shepard has maintained a comfortable 15 MP lead in the B bracket, with Charmaine Lobel 6 MPs ahead of Howard Strauss in 3rd.

Jackie Solovei has just a few points over Fiona Smith with Gill Blumberg not far behind in the C bracket.

The D bracket is rather bunched together, with Derek Lurie ahead of Joan Israelite by just 3 points, with the next 8 players all within 1,5 points of 3rd place.

It's understandably a lot tougher in this D bracket, as these players average under 46%, so earning these BBO masterpoints is hard work.
