Meeting September 2021. Minutes

Invite sent to members to attend online meeting to discuss plans – apologies if any members not receive invite in time.

John Salter and Graham Walker intimated their intention to step down from chair/vice chair.  Ron Moodie offered to be interim president meantime – no other nominations received.

13 members attended and contributed to discussions.

Way forward – members prefer to hold off with face to face bridge meantime.

Alison Carmichael agreeable to continue organising online bridge on Wednesday evenings, money to go to Leven bridge club, recommencing 15th September.  Alison will organise events for cups as per usual as best she can.  Players who are not at present members of LBC will be invited to join the club free of charge for this season.  The bridge club would like to thank Alison for her efforts during the pandemic and arranging online bridge for people to be able to continue getting a game of bridge.

Marion Cadogan continues as treasurer; Kirsty Goodman to continue as secretary meantime.  Members to be contacted shortly regarding payment options of SBU membership fees with Leven BC.

Kirsty to advise Old Manor of postponement of face to face bridge.

Next meeting planned for first Wed in December to decide if face to face bridge restart in January 2022.  Further details will be advertised on website and by email or phone to members.
