The qualifier will be played over four sessions. Play starts at 11:00am (11:05am on Sunday due to observing Remembrance Sunday), with a finish at approximately 6:40pm on the Sunday. The precise timetable for the qualifying event depends on the exact number of entries.

The selection committee is looking for partnerships that are NGS Queen or higher.

As this event is designed to develop tactics and play at Teams, XIMP scoring rather than Matchpoint scoring will be used. This is the first of four development evenings that will be run during the season. The Stanley Trophy will be awarded to the pair that has the best average score from their best three out of the four development evenings.
