You  - as a club member - or any other person in the world can look at 99% of our website without registering or doing anything but going to the site.  The information below is for paid club members to register to see our membership information (names and phone numbers and such) - which is password protected.  

To register yourself on the website, give the procedure below a try.

For purposes of this article, you are two separate people to us:

MEMBER OF THE BRIDGE CLUB  AND  (prospective) MEMBER OF THE WEBSITE FAMILY

Let's say that you are a  paid member of LCBA, but have not yet completed the registration procedure for the website by setting up my your personal password - so that you might have access to the private membership information available only to qualified users .

If you are a PAID member of Lee County Bridge Association, we have already entered your name into the data base. But, we have not entered your e-mail into the data base.

Now we have to help you become a recognized member of the website family by helping you set your own personal password.

Here is what needs to be done to set up your own personal LCBA password:

  An administrator has to put your e-mail address into the database - either Sharon Pierce or Linda McLaughlin.

♣ Give your e-mail address to either Sharon or Linda while you are playing at the club

***OR***

 Send an e-mail to Linda at :   llmcl1952@gmail.com   - from which she can extract your e-mail address.

***OR***

Call Linda at 239-851-2749  and give her your e-mail address.   

Right now - the system does not recognize you as an authorized member of our website family  - not an authorized "viewer" of the our private membership information  - even though you are a paid member of our club.

For purposes of discussion - we are going to perform the same function that you would use if you had forgotten your Macy's password and needed to reset a new one. 

Once Linda orSharon enters your e-mail into the system, the system is now prepared to help you set up your own personal password. 

♣ Next is where you get involved 

♣ Click on the MEMBER LOG IN tab (in the main menu), enter your e-mail into the top box and click on the blue

"SET/RESET PASSWORD" button at the lower right. 

♣ You want to instruct the system to generate an e-mail which will be sent to your in box. 

♣ When you receive the e-mail in your inbox, just pretend that you have forgotten your previous password and create your new one.  

 

♣ From then on, when you go to the site, click the MEMBER LOG IN tab, enter your email address and enter your personal password.  And you should be all set. 
 

 

You will only need it when you want to go into the membership list - which is private and password protected.

 

HINT:  When viewing the membership list - make sure you select ALL at the far right/top so you can see all the way down to the end of the alphabet! 

Once you get into the membership list, click on your name and click on the ACCOUNT tab across the top.  

 

This will bring up your own profile page.  

 

You can check and see that the information we have on file for you is correct! 

Hit the SAVE button at the top left (in gray, next to the < > arrows).

Do NOT leave the page after making changes to your information without hitting the save button or your changes will fly out into space somewhere!
