BBO - Bridgemaster
Bridge Master is an educational program designed to improve your declarer play. The program presents you with a series of instructional deals to play. You are always declarer. The deals are carefully constructed exercises designed to illustrate an important declarer play technique; if you take the correct line of play you will always make your contract. On the other hand, if you make any mistake, the program will always defend perfectly and defeat your contract. A Show solution button is available to explain the correct line of play as well as the thinking process that leads to the solution.
It is free to use but you will have to set up an account on BBO to use it.
Click anywhere on this article to give it a try and you will be amazed at how quickly your declarer play improves.

Bridge for All |
I use the EBU Bridge for all Course, a well structured course that takes you from complete beginner to playing in a club in less than a year.
I have been teaching the Bridge for All course for 5+ years. I like the sequence of the topics and particularly like that it gives the learners lots of chances to practice what they have learned. I teach using presentations based on the course material and handouts are distributed to the learners to allow them to build up a handbook that they can use for reference and revision, I use quizzes that help to reinforce the lessons.
I use a book called "Really Easy Bidding" that is published by the EBU as our course book, this will be supplied to you when you enrol in the Beginner Bridge class, it is great for reference and has examples and quizzes so that you can test yourself.
The system that I teach is called Modern ACOL. This is the standard system that is taught in the UK and Ireland and New Zealand. This means that when you do decide to play in clubs or online you are sure to meet other players who can play the same system.
