Bridge is a compelling game and is played by people of all ages from 10 to 100. if you have decided to learn you will not regret it because it is a great way to spend your spare time and make new friends. What could be better than spending time with like minded people in a fun and relaxing environment?

I have been teaching bridge to both children and adults for about 15 years and had decided to retire from teaching this year however I have had a wee bit of a rethink and instead of retiring I would like to try out a different method of teaching. I have been thinking about this for a wee while and would like to try it out on a small number of learners who know absolutely nothing about bridge and would like to give it a try. We will cover all the same topics but I am hoping that this new method will give a better understanding of the game.

Bridge Master is an educational program designed to improve your declarer play. The program presents you with a series of instructional deals to play. You are always declarer. The deals are carefully constructed exercises designed to illustrate an important declarer play technique; if you take the correct line of play you will always make your contract. On the other hand, if you make any mistake, the program will always defend perfectly and defeat your contract. A Show solution button is available to explain the correct line of play as well as the thinking process that leads to the solution.

It is free to use but you will have to set up an account on BBO to use it.
