| AUDREY GREAVES |
I am sorry to report the death of Audrey Greaves, following a heart attack in hospital on Sunday 23rd October. Audrey was a long-standing member of our bridge club. The funeral will take place at Altricham Crematorium on Tuesday 22nd November at 12.45pm and afterwards at the Stamford Arms in Bowdon. Please telephone her daughter Paula on 07947 804272 if you plan to attend.
Until quite recently she was playing at the Forties Bridge Club. She also played at the former Timperley Bridge Club and at High Legh as well as having many other interests including tennis and badminton. Audrey enjoyed joining us on many meals out and on bridge holidays at home and abroad. She will be missed by many.

I am sorry to report the death on 1st August of one of our members and committee member and director John Beattie who had been forced to resign due to ill health. John will be remembered for his quietly spoken kindness to all and his loss will be felt by his many friends at Larkhill, his Church and those who knew him at The Hub amongst many others. Our condolences to his wife Ann and his family.
Donations can be made to St Ann's Hospice, Cheadle or Maggie's at The Christie Hospital.
