County online bridge matches – an invitation

We realise that online bridge is not everyone’s cup of tea, but it does offer counties the opportunity to play matches against each other, without the long journeys that used to be necessary.  County representative matches are a very pleasant form of the game, providing an opportunity to meet new people, contribute to a team effort and to be able to say you have represented the county and LCBA is very keen to increase the number of players we offer this opportunity to.

In 2025 we have a comprehensive schedule of county matches online and we hoped you might be interested in playing.  If that is the case, please would you complete the registration form you will find below.
 

If you register, you are not signing up to play. Early in the year you will receive an availability request with the dates of all the fixtures and the opportunity for you to indicate which, if any, you wish to be considered for.  We can’t give everyone a match, but we do try to spread out the opportunities and we do hope very much you will register so that we know you are interested.
