What |
Lake Norman Bridge Center Duplicate Bridge games are sanctioned by the American Contract Bridge League, the ACBL and award ACBL masterpoints.
We offer Stratified Open Pairs, Mentor-Mentee games, monthly Swiss Teams and other events, such as STaC (Sectional Tournaments at Clubs), North American Pairs (NAP) and Grand National Teams (GNT). Our goal is to provide our players every opportunity to compete, whether among just your friends in your club or representing your area in national events with players from all over North America.
LNBC also has a teaching program for beginners thru advanced players, offering group lessons about 4 times a year. The instructors are generally available for private and small group lessons. Supervised play is offered for those who want guidance while playing from our club's experts.
We are a friendly club and enforce sanctions against bad behavior including Zero Tolerance policies. We have a lot of newer players and we do not tolerate intimidation or behavior that makes others uncomfortable. We want our all our players to succeed and enjoy themselves at our club.
Be nice!

Refreshments |
We have a lot of great cooks and bakers and you will find lots of goodies on the refreshments tables. Our club also likes parties--you will have cakes and special foods to celebrate new Life Masters, Birthdays, and other events.
Nora Oliver and Marlene Smith provide our goodies--baking cakes and cookies, spreads, dips and other savory treats. Several players each week bring their contributions. You won't be hungry for long!
