The 3-week Winter Pairs competition will start one week later than scheduled - Week 1 is 26 July.

The keen observer would have noticed, when checking the hands after Bridge, that Board 24's cards were recorded for both Board 23 AND Board 24!

Only the person who recorded the cards at the end of Round 1 may have an answer for this. 

We want to assure everyone that you did not play the same board twice. The boards were not fouled. The session was viable. Only poor little Board 23 wasn't recorded.

We present below the correct record of cards and contracts for Board 23.

PLEASE remember to call the Bridgemate Director for help if you find yourself in a quandary when using Bridgemates.

It's time to think about signing your team up for the May competition.

Some things to know: our committee has decided that 7 or 9 teams gives the best movement for running the competition. So put your names down as soon as you're organized. The first seven teams entered are assured of play. Any names entered after that, will be viable only if the number of teams advances to nine.

What a pleasant surprise to welcome back so many of our 'old' regular players today.

Nine and a half tables made for a busy and enjoyable morning of bridge.

A big welcome also to Robin and Lyn McDonald who have joined our Club after recently moving to Lake Macquarie. We hope you spend many happy Tuesday mornings with us. 

 New Year - New Committee!

Lake Macquarie Bridge Club is rearing to go with a new committee dedicated to running the friendliest Bridge Club in the Hunter (arguably so!! ). We welcome Yvonne Grant (President), Hans Tiller (Secretary) and Di Noon (Treasurer) - we're sure the 'engine room' of Lake Mac BC continues to be in good hands. Thanks to Lake Macquarie Bridge Club and Club Macquarie, we enjoyed a morning of Bridge followed by a tasty Christmas lunch.

Kerrie Stien with her inimitable style, acted as a congenial MC with an entertaining, mind-bending quiz followed by the presentation of awards by President Hans. 

Congratulations to all our lovely members for their company at Bridge throughout 2021 and special mention to:
