Open Trophy Rules (2019)
1. Individual competition is restricted to those who are KLTC (BC) members from the start of the calendar year to the end of November and who play at least 50 times at BC duplicate sessions (not supervised, interclub or other trophy events)
2. Winner is the person scoring the highest average number of red and green Masterpoints in such sessions while playing with partners who are BC members at which points are earned
3. Winner is determined by Terry Crawford and independently verified by a Committee member
4. Trophy shared in the event of a tie

| Penny Purbrick trophy |
Awarded to the player with less than 50 Masterpoints at the start of the year, who gains the most masterpoints by the end of November when playing at Kooyong with a partner who also had less than 50 masterpoints at the beginning of the year.
Winner determined by Terry Crawford and confirmed by a committee member.
Not eligible to win if have won the trophy in a previous year.
